Power

The woman entered the doctor's surgery. She had in her hand a sealed envelope.
"Hello," she said to the receptionist.
The receptionist scowled at her.
"Yes?"
"Could you give this to the doctor, please?"
She snatched the envelope from the woman's hand, ignored the PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL message on the front and tore it open.
"Err, what are you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
"It says private and confidential on it."
"Yes, I saw that."
"So why did you open it?"
"Because I wanted to."
The receptionist stared at the woman with a look that made her feel cold.
The woman left.
