The explosion shocked him.
"What was that?" he asked.
"Sir, you just fired a missile."
His hand had touched the button by mistake.
"Oops!"
A ship containing no personnel had just been obliterated.
Another two degrees to the left and he would have destroyed the base and killed hundreds.
