“I got
my new sofa delivered today,” said Joe.
“That’s
brilliant! I know you’ve been looking forward to that arriving.”
“Yeah.”
Joe stared off into the middle distance. He looked upset.
“What’s
the matter?”
“It was
the guys who delivered it. They were right miserable buggers.”
“So?”
“It’s
just ruined the whole experience for me.”
