Wages

It was payday and his wages hadn't gone into his account.
"This is total bullshit," he raged and got straight on the phone to human resources.
"I haven't been paid," he yelled as soon as it was picked up at the other end.
Those in the office with him could only hear one side of the conversation.
"Oh, I see. That's OK then."
He put the phone down carefully and turned to the others, red-faced.
"You all knew I'd got the day wrong, didn't you?"
