When the Moon Hits Your Eye

"I've got no control."
"Switch to manual."
"I have."
"Let me try."
The two astronauts wrestled with the controls, but the small vessel was not for controlling. It weaved this way and that with seemingly one destination in mind.
The small moon was becoming much larger.
Their speed was off the scale and there was no way to slow it down.
They braced themselves.
