He was choking. His face was turning purple. He tried to shout for help, but couldn't. He tried to stand and crashed to the floor.
"Oh my God!" a diner at the next table exclaimed. "Somebody help."
Customers and waiting staff ran around, concerned and trying to help, but achieving nothing.
Was there a doctor present? Or someone, anyone who knew what to do?
There wasn't.
The man watched in agony from the floor as nobody helped him.
