He drove into the side street, not noticing the no entry sign. He didn't notice that all the parked cars were facing towards him. He didn't notice the horrified expressions on pedestrians faces and the arm waving gestures of some of them. He didn't notice the bin wagon turn into the end of the road at speed as he approached the junction.
He didn't notice the ambulance that arrived too late to save him.
