There was a knock at the door. He went and answered.
"Are you Mr Simpkins?" asked a man in army fatigues.
"Yes?" he asked.
"You don't sound too sure. Are you?"
"Yes," he said with confidence.
"The boys at the 9th say hi," said the man.
He pulled a gun from his pocket and shot him in the face.
