Saturday afternoon.
It was his turn to have the kids, which he usually quite enjoyed.
He'd let them decide where to go this week and they'd chosen the worst possible place.
He had served in the army in the 90s and had spent time in Bosnia, but he'd never witnessed carnage and atrocity on this scale before.
He vowed never to take them to the soft play area again.
