She felt quite stupid, standing there in her lobster outfit.
It was nigh on impossible to hold a plate of snacks and a glass of wine with the claws and there had been spillages galore already.
At least her reddening face matched the rest of the costume.
The others all wore expensive dresses and nice suits.
She had no idea that the term fancy dress could be so misconstrued.
