Escape part two

The warriors scratched their heads, both literally and figuratively.
Where had he gone?
On a hill above them the man now stood looking down on them. He was equally baffled. The watch was meant to move him through time, not space.
He pressed the buttons on his watch once more and there was a blinding flash of light before he vanished.
The warriors looked up at the hill having seen the flash and began to climb it.
