He put in a pound coin and pressed start.
The reels span as he watched. They showed no sign of stopping. They span faster and faster and heat radiated from the front of the fruit machine.
He started to feel nauseous.
The reels continued to spin and a loud whirring sound came from the machine.
His eyes rolled back into his head and he collapsed, unconscious.
The reels span on.
